PinkMafiaRadioEp55 Noahs Arc 2.3 Desperado
PinkMafiaRadioEp55

Darian is back from his blog to discuss “Desperado” the third episode of Noah’s Arc season two. Just when I thought they had finally let the more tiresome subplots come to a close with last weeks superb episode they rehash old drama so blatantly in this episode you will feel like you are watching a rerun. While many wonderful new ideas and characters do show up so do several issues and confilcts that are exhausted and or forced. For some insight into the music on the show and glimpses into the mind of Patrik Ian Polk check out his myspace page. Please check out the Tim Gunn on the Project Runway podcast and the Battlestar Galactica podcast for more insight on those shows. The new season of “Noah’s Arc” keeps setting the bar higher with some hot new guest stars plus a few of the lead characters finding love and letting love find them. DeMario Thornton AKA Raz B shows up for a very emotional cameo in this episode as a young man with some issues to deal with at Alex’s Black AIDS Institute. I have special guest Darian from lolDarian.BlogSpot.com on to review and discuss the second episode of season two. We also hear from Raz himself direct from the recording studio in Detroit. Raz B clues us in on why he felt the need to appear on “Noah’s Arc” and when we can hear his next single “Strawberry Lane”. Please check out clya.org for more info on a very important charity that Raz B works with to help kids in need. Send feedback questions or comments to Steven at PinkMafiaRadio@yahoo.com or call me 206 202-0296.

PinkMafiaRadioEp51 Dirty Laundry at Outfest
PinkMafiaRadioEp51

A few weeks ago I was able to see several films at the Los Angeles annual GLBT film festival Outfest. One of the gems of that festival was “Dirty Laundry” the second film by Maurice Jamal. The movie deals with the strained relationships in a southern African-American family as the son who escaped the south returns to deal with some deep family secrets. Check out DirtyLaundrythemovie.com for more details on the film and the festival tour. I also talk a bit about “Another Gay Movie” and “Boy Culture” plus more “Noah’s Arc” news. Please send feedback questions or comments to Steven at PinkMafiaRadio@yahoo.com or call me 206 202-0296.
