A few weeks ago I was able to see several films at the Los Angeles annual GLBT film festival Outfest. One of the gems of that festival was “Dirty Laundry” the second film by Maurice Jamal. The movie deals with the strained relationships in a southern African-American family as the son who escaped the south returns to deal with some deep family secrets.
