“Hate Crime” brings us a new level of emotional realism in the genre of GLBT crime films. First time director & writer Tommy Stovall has succeeded in bringing to the screen the sense of anguish and pain that a family goes through when they loose a loved one. He is also able to show with great visual simplicity and cinematic perfection the different sides of the Christian faith. I highly recommend that you check out HateCrimeMovie.com for show times of this powerful, controversial and important film.

Will & Grace has finally puttered out. I felt the gem of this last season was Episode 175 “I Love L. Gay”. The show has always shied away from politics but in this stellar episode they delve into such issues as gay immigration rights, closeted actors, gay parenthood, straight misperceptions of gay love, and the first primetime inter racial gay kiss. Tune in to hear the rest of my review.

“Black Aura on an Angel” takes us on a journey into love, codependency, friendship and tragedy. First time filmmaker Faith Trimel poses the question “In the search for love….Can you loose yourself?” She answers that question and brings up many more in her powerful directorial debut.
